Hi There everyone: I hope that the painting of the peacock is loaded. I see all these crazy letters and numbers and symbols that looks like computer swearing. That said This is the peacock of previous discussion. This is a test, so I will sign out and check it out. So this is the edit button and what it can do. This painting is called: "Beauty is often out of the Box". Not a shock there, it is what it is. This painting was a toughy. The authors had meditated on the them for this painting and what it was to represent. Beauty is seen through the eyes of the heart. How can I see beauty in everything. The animal that came to them was the peacock. Now being the obsessive compulsive person that I am, I wanted to give them only the best that I could. I researched on-line and everything was pretty standard and really boring. So I went out into the field and to the zoos in several places, took photos and basicly hang around the peacocks. I got some great photos and a real sence of "them". They really are a fantastic bird. I did the first draft if you will and liked it but something was ......missing, it felt incomplete. In that time I ordered a book on-line called "Color and Light" by James Gurney of Dinotopia and was delightfully pleased. He really helped me with the painting. So now with more changes here it is. With more contrast, more color and more light. I think this achieved the goal of the theme of "How can I see Beauty in everything." Talk with you later Robin
